Elmer Ambrose Sperry
Elmer Ambrose Sperry (1860-1930), American inventor and electrical engineer, who is best known for his inventions based on the application of the gyroscope. This is an undated photograph of Sperry (left side) watching over the assembly of one of his earlier Gyroscopes.
