Model of a US Navy Standard Medium Tug (V4-M-A1). Medium were designed to maneuver ships, tow barges and submarines in close quarters such as channel operations, harbors, coastal waters, mooring, docking or undocking. Some were also equipped to provide harbor fire fighting service.
